SBS Institute for Training of Trainers is one of the prime institutes of the group of institutes run by SBS Social Welfare Trust Kalanwali. Our trust has also been running B.ED. and nursing colleges since 2005 and is also a training partner of the DDU-GKY scheme and also tied with the Shri Chaitanya Group of Schools. ITOT came into existence in the year 2013 and is housed in a modern multi-complex campus. DGT has approved it and affiliated it with NCVT New Delhi. The demand for qualified instructors is huge as compared to the capacity of various instructor training institutes in India. This institute is entrusted with the mission to act as centre for offering quality training programmes for instructors to meet the demand of various industrial training institutes (ITIs) at regional and also at national levels. The institute is offering a comprehensive Crafts Instructor Training (CTI) program designed for instructors from Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), as well as industry-sponsored and private candidates. This initiative is part of the Crafts Instructor Training Scheme under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. The program aims to enhance the skills and expertise of instructors, empowering them to deliver high-quality training and meet the growing demands of the industry.

*शहीद भगत सिंह कॉलेज में होम डेकोर और लेडीज और जेन्स डिजाइनर कपड़ों के साथ सभी तरह के सामान आदि वस्तुओ की प्रदर्शनी का किया गया आयोजन ।* शहीद भगत सिंह कॉलेज, ओढ़ां रोड कालांवाली में भव्य प्रदर्शनी आयोजन किया गया। प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन मुख्य अतिथि द मिलेनियम स्कूल, की प्रिंसिपल डॉ. इंद्रजीत पाल कौर, ने किया । इसके बाद डॉ. इंद्रजीत पाल कौर, ने छात्र-छात्राओं की ओर से बनाए गए होम डेकोर और लेडीज और जेन्स डिजाइनर कपड़ों के साथ सभी तरह के सामान आदि वस्तुओ का निरीक्षण किया और तहे दिल से इसकी प्रशंसा की । इस प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन ट्रेड सिलाई तकनीक के विद्यार्थियों व् शिक्षिका श्री मति संगीता व् कामना की देख रेख में किया गया । प्रदर्शनी में पूजा की थाल से लेकर मूर्तियां, होम डेकोर , बच्चों के ब्लैंकेट और लेडीज -जेन्स डिजाइनर कपड़ों के साथ सभी तरह के सामान प्रस्तुत किए गए। एस बी एस आई० टी० ओ० टी० के निदेशक श्री अशोक सिंगला व् एस बी एस कॉलेज ऑफ़ एजुकेशन के निदेशक श्री विकास गर्ग, प्राचार्य रविंदर कुमार, अधीक्षक नवदीप सिंह विद्यार्थियों की प्रतिभाओं से बहुत प्रभावित हुए। श्री अशोक सिंगला ने कहा " प्रदर्शनी में अलग-अलग युवा एंटरप्रेन्योर की रचनात्मकता भी झलकती है। जिन्होंने इसे सफल बनाने में अपना योगदान दिया।" उन्होंने प्रदर्शनी को बड़े पैमाने पर करने की बात भी कही। उन्होंने सभी विद्यार्थियों को इस प्रकार कर्मशील रहने की शुभकामनाएँ दी तथा सभी अध्यापकों को योगदान देने के लिए उनका धन्यवाद किया।

Hostel Facility
The institute provides separate homely hostel accommodation for Boys and Girls. Boy's & Girl's Hostels is located in Kalanwali town. Sufficient and necessary care is being taken to ensure the safety and security of the girls. The rooms are spacious, well-lit and are well furnished. In hostel cooking is done by students themselves and required facility for cooking Le. Cylinder etc. (refundable security has to be deposited to avail these facilities) is provided by Institute If students does not want to cook themselves then institute can provide them tiffin on the charges basis.
Cafeteria
A spacious, well furnished & hygienic cafeteria with all the required amenities is available in the college campus. A stationary shop is also set up in the campus for day to day requirements of the students. Tea, Coffee, Cold Drinks and other Snacks are given to the students on subsidized rates. The lunch for students is also made available in the cafeteria on demand.
Medical Facility
Students are provided with immediate free medical aid in the campus. A qualified doctor is appointed on part time basis for this purpose. All the medicines are kept in the dispensary. A Staff member is also assigned the duty as a compounder for giving the First-Aid to the students in case of any injury during the practical work in labs and workshops
Holidays & Vacations
The institution shall observe all the Gazette Holidays declared by the Haryana Govt. time to time. However, six days’ week shall be followed for teaching purpose. In additional there are 3 holidays kept at the discretion of the Principal of the institution which shall be granted as and when occasion arises.
Sessional Work
The work of every student is checked by the concerned teachers and marks awarded for class work, homework, project work, student centered activities, camps, tours and periodical examinations. A student who is found not faring well in the class according to the judgement of the teachers, shall be liable for expulsion.
Examination & Certifications
Final Trade test shall be conducted at the end of annual session in theory and practical subjects. The successful candidates who have passed all the subjects shall be awarded "Certificate of Proficiency" certificate by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT), Govt. of India, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, GOI, New Delhi They become eligible for the appointed as Craft Instructors at various Training Institutes. The minimum attendance required for appearing in Examinational is 80% and Passing marks are 40% in theory and 60% practical examination for getting craft Instructor certificate.
